Job Description : Program Manager

Reporting directly to the President of Professional Services. The Program Manager is responsible for the successful implementation of Amicus clients onto the Elevate™ platform and serving as the project manager, customer relationship manager, and primary point of contact for their respective programs.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage the project schedule/plan with dependencies along with the client project manager

  • Prioritize numerous tasks in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects at any given time

  • Regularly identify risks and develop risk mitigation plans to resolve known issues

  • Conduct checkpoints and weekly status meetings with both internal and external project team members

  • Provide program scorecards and status reports to all relevant stakeholders (internal/external)

  • Manage project hours, budget, margin, invoices, and cashflow

  • Collaborate with product development and test teams in tracking issues and resolving with the client

  • Escalate to the client and Amicus leadership teams (as appropriate)

  • Manage the time and deliverables associated with 3rd party consultants and contractors as needed
     

  • Assist in:

    • Conduct workshops with client to gather requirements in collaboration with product development

    • Design and document client deliverables

    • Review documents with the client and obtain formal sign-off

    • Create, execute, record and report testing plans (end-to-end / user acceptable testing)

    • Develop and review help desk materials
       

  • Secondary Job duties:

    • Coordinate client activities with Amicus product development team as needed

    • Support sales cycles for implementation approach and schedule

    • Support in the development of contacts, statements of work, and master service agreements

    • Develop client documentation, training materials, FAQs, and expand broader knowledge base

    • Provide post go-live support and ensure smooth transition to the Amicus technical support team

Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a project manager role with both technical & business exposure

  • Bachelor Business Administration or Bachelor of Science (MIS/CIS or Finance degree strongly desired)

  • Strong technical aptitude a must

  • Confidence with Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Excel, Word) a must

  • Experience working in software / FinTech space strongly desired

  • Project management experience with large financial institutions (financial services industry) strongly desired

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly desired

  • Experience working with development toolsets, including Jira and Confluence, strongly desired

  • Experience working with nonprofit organizations (NPOs) a plus
