Job Description : Test Automation Engineer

As a test automation engineer at Amicus.io, you will be responsible for the design, implementation and extension of our automation framework. We are looking for a solid team player who can get up-to-speed rapidly. This position will stretch and enhance your skill set while allowing you to make a real impact on the lives of people around the world. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for design and implementation of the automation framework

  • Manage the test automation process

Requirements

Required Skills

  • 5+ years developing test automation

  • Experience with both REST API and GUI for web applications

  • Skilled with Python, Linux, shell scripting

  • Must be a motivated, task-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced work environment

  • Must possess exceptional communication, documentation and organizational skills

  • Must demonstrate strong project management skills with the ability to own and drive projects from start to finish

Preferred Skills

  • Experience testing event-driven distributed applications

  • Developing test automation for CI/CD pipelines

  • Experience with non- functional test automation

  • Experience with Testim.io

  • DevOps experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

  • Works in an office environment involving sitting most of the time at a desk in front of a computer. The worker is subject to close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and viewing a computer screen to read and enter data.

  • Travel Requirements – Less than 5% travel is required to perform the essential requirements for this role.
